Privacy Technology with Liberty Lives

At this event, Oliver will be discussing the importance of online privacy. 

His presentation will begin with a brief discussion on the importance of privacy technology in general, presenting some key ideas including big data, AI tracking, and maintaining sovereignty. 

He will then present some of the tools used to become more private online. The topics that will be discussed include: privacy browsers and search engines, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and the differences between useful and useless ones, privacy focused operating systems for computers and phones, and alternative social media platforms that respect privacy. 

He will then end with a brief discussion about some strategies for implementing these ideas.
